Overbeck's House, Museum and Garden is an Edwardian house and a 2.75 hectare garden situated in Sharpitor, Salcombe, Devon. It is named after its last private owner inventer Otto Christop Joseph Gerhardt Ludwig Overbeck.
ARB Architecture Ltd was appointed to carry out a Quinquennial inspection of the Manor and associated buildings by the National Trust. A Quinquennial inspection involves a thorough survey of all aspects of a building’s fabric and is intended to identify problems, which have developed since the last time it was inspected. This detailed report establishes priorities for repairs to ensure problems/defects are caught in time.
Since the quinquennial inspection, the practice has been involved in producing a feasibilty report to steer the National Trust for the next chapter at Overbecks.
