Alex Bolt (ARB RIBA CR)
Director
Alex Bolt RIBA ARB CR, is the enthusiastic managing director. He has gained extensive working knowledge on conservation projects when working for chartered practices in Devon. After setting up ARB Architecture he has established a working relationship with the National Trust and a number of Diocese, providing advice and support for works on churches and historic listed properties.
Alex has gained considerable experience in a variety of different design specialisms, from contemporary design, sustainability, new builds, extensions, conservation, hotel and restaurant projects. Alex believes in providing a value for money and efficient quality design service by qualified professionals.
Elizabeth Hateley
PA to the Director
Elizabeth (Lizzie) deals with the coordinating and managing of Alex's diary, all database's, invoicing and filing as well as the typing and preparing reports and tender information for the practice. Lizzie provides the positive first point of contact and is able to communicate professionally with clients and contractors.
Samantha Stevens
Architectural Designer
Sam is an award winning architectural designer, she is enthusiastic and creative with over 12 years’ experience in practice, after graduating from Oxford Brookes with honours in Architecture. Sam has worked on a wide range of projects, including masterplanning, urban design proposals and various scaled residential projects in the UK and abroad. She possess excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and CAD packages.
Khurram Shah
Part II Architectural Assistant
Khurram is a graduate from Leeds University after successfully gaining a 2:1 in his Master of Architecture and is currently preparing to site his final R.I.B.A Part III exam (becoming an Architect). He is ambitious and determined with practical experience, predominantly in the Residential Sector from Individual houses through to medium and large scale new builds for property developers.
Khurram is our in-house 3D wizard, who has the ability to transform traditional 2D drawings into wonderful 3D realistic renders, which become a great tool to showcase our designs.
As part of his year out, Khurram generously gave up his time as a placement volunteer for All Hands Charity in Nepal, which provided great practical experience.
